This is gonna get loud

Paying homage to Spinal Tap guitarist Nigel Tufnel’s quote that “these go to 11” when talking about their amps, my Subaru Ascent’s car radio volume goes to 38. When the time calls for it or “we need that little extra,” that level gets reached.

“Into the Fire” by Asking Alexandria

First of all, the title spoke to me because of Dokken’s 1980s hair metal rocker from the Tooth and Nail album. That gets turned up loud, too. Second, Asking Alexandria’s 2017 version, which is completely different, is perfect for letting go of the day’s aggression.
